KEY PERSONNEL

Geology & Hydrogeology

 

Ms. Bonnie Lampley is the President and a Principal Hydrogeologist at L&A.  Professional registrations include:

·         Professional Geologist (California PG 6541)

·         Certified Hydrogeologist (California HG 626)

 

Ms. Lampley is responsible for corporate financial and technical oversight, and management of all groundwater and surface-water projects, and statistical and water-chemistry applications.  She is the head of our groundwater group and is an expert on local and basin-wide hydrology throughout northern California.  Ms. Lampley specializes in water supply development, regulatory compliance for landfills and industrial facilities, CEQA/NEPA planning, and litigation support.   

 

Mr. David Kirk is a Vice-President and Principal Geologist at L&A. 

Professional registrations include:

·         Professional Geologist (California PG 6673, Oregon G1833)

·         Certified Hydrogeologist (California HG 897)

 

Mr. Kirk has over 15 years at L&A, and specializes in investigation, monitoring, and reporting, with experience at well over 100 underground storage and spill-related sites.  He is responsible for managing periodic sampling work for multiple clients, developing and implementing corrective action strategies at leaking underground storage tank and other contaminated sites, and preparing mine reclamation plans and mineral assessments. 

 

Mr. Karl Swanson is an Associate Geologist at L&A.  He has over 8 years of experience at L&A, and specializes in regulatory compliance for landfills, including groundwater, landfill-gas, and leachate monitoring and reporting, and development of Closure Plans, Joint Technical Documents, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans, and various other documents.  Mr. Swanson also manages investigation, remediation, and reporting for leaking UST sites.  

Engineering Geology

 

Mr. Clayton Coles is the General Manager and a Principal Engineering Geologist at L&A. 

Professional registrations include:

·         Professional Geologist (California PG 5007, Oregon G 1360)

·         Certified Engineering Geologist (California CEG 1730, Oregon E 1360)

·         Certified Professional Erosion and Sediment Control Specialist (California CPESC 826)

 

Mr. Coles is responsible for technical management and oversight of all engineering, geotechnical, environmental, and construction-management projects.  Mr. Coles has managed or performed project work on virtually every Lawrence & Associates project of this type for over 20 years.  He specializes in landfill design, permitting, construction management and operation, wastewater disposal design, management of investigation and remediation of contaminated sites, and litigation support.  

Mr. Bryan Gartner is a Vice-President and Principal Geologist at L&A. 

Professional registrations include:

·         Certified Engineering Geologist (California CEG 1756, Oregon E 1431)

·         Certified Hydrogeologist (California HG 57)

·         Registered Environmental Site Assessor (California REA 1879)

 

Mr. Gartner specializes in regulatory compliance at sites operating under storm-water and landfill permits, environmental site assessments for property transactions and brownfields redevelopment, and investigation and cleanup of contaminated properties, including UST and other sites. 

Civil Engineering

 

Mr. Jesse Solorio is a Senior Civil Engineer at L&A.  He is licensed as a Professional Engineer (California PE 65305).  Mr. Solorio specializes in hydrology evaluations, water supply engineering, and a wide range of civil design for site development.

Mr. Kyle Jones is an Associate Civil Engineer at L&A.  He is licensed as an Engineer in Training (Nevada EIT 7875).  Mr. Jones provides a wide range of civil design for site development and provides construction management and inspection. 

Environmental Due Diligence

 

Ms. Janet Bailey is an Associate Geologist with 10 years of experience at L&A.  Professional registrations include:

·         Registered Environmental Assessor (California REA 8298)

·         Certified Environmental Manager (Nevada CEM 2210) 

Ms. Bailey specializes in hazardous materials planning and training, environmental site assessments for real estate transactions and brownfields redevelopment, and investigation and remediation of contamination at leaking UST sites.  She has a background in natural resources and education.  Ms. Bailey manages electronic reporting for all of L&A’s projects, including California’s Geotracker (landfills, spill and leak sites) and USEPA’s ACRES (brownfields assessments). 

 

Mr. Robert (Bob) Ekin is a Senior Project Manager at L&A.  He is licensed as a Registered Environmental Assessor (California REA 5023).  Mr. Ekin has over 8 years of experience at L&A and more than 20 years as an environmental consultant.  Mr. Ekin has a background in mechanical engineering.  He specializes in environmental site assessments for property transactions, planning and permitting for new developments, wastewater disposal evaluations, and CEQA/NEPA technical support. 

CAD Services

 

Mr. David Zaitz is the AutoCAD Manager at L&A.  Mr. Zaitz has well over 20 years of experience in surveying and drafting, utilizing AutoCAD, GIS, and various mapping and information programs and software, including DCA and Earthworks modules.

 

Ms. Jenny Holden is an Engineering Technician at L&A with over 10 years of experience in AutoCAD and surveying.  Ms. Holden also conducts periodic groundwater and air-quality sampling, and is the administrator for claims to the California Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund (USTCF).

Drilling Services 

 

Mr. Dan Jensen is a Vice-President and the Drilling Manager at L&A.  Drilling licenses include: 

·         Monitoring Well Driller (Oregon WD 10405)

·         Monitoring Well Drilling Contractors License (California C57-539447, as David A Lawrence dba Lawrence & Associates)

Mr. Jensen is responsible for all drilling services, including sampling and drilling, monitoring-well installation, remediation-system installation, periodic groundwater sampling at UST and landfill sites, and other technical services.
